Photographs are useful for appearance, but physical samples are often required to evaluate curl direction, tear initiation, coating condition, and peel behavior.
Rolls should be protected from moisture, direct heat, and deformation. Store them in their intended orientation on suitable supports and avoid excessive stacking pressure.
Keep protective wrapping closed until the material is ready for conditioning and use. Large temperature differences between the warehouse and converting room may create condensation or rapid moisture exchange.
The core should remain round and undamaged. A deformed core can cause vibration, uneven feeding, and changes in web tension.
